| МК | Dextrin gumming. It’s necessary to moisten glue strip on the flap for envelope sealing. |
| СК | Self seal flap. Special form of self-adhesive double flap prevents flap sealing until it is ready to mail. To seal the envelope it’s necessary to fold the bottom flap and press the top flap to the bottom one. |
| СКЛ | Silicone gumming (seal and peal). To seal the envelope it’s necessary to remove protective liner, fold flap and press for a quick secure seal. |

| Flap | Flap is an open part of an envelope with the layer of glue for envelope sealing.
Depending on the form of the flap there are envelopes for manual insertion of mailing and envelopes for automatic insertion.
